NIGERIA @51 (STILL INCOHERENT)

"The deception of anarchy is similar to the winds that bring rain, which also announce the entrance of a hurricane"

From the horn of Africa runs the blood of the innocent all the way to the cape of good hope, years of war and the carnage of human flesh, raw in the memory of lives that lived through the times.
With independence birth a new dawn.  History’s tales of martyrs, tyrants, leaders, rulers, military unrest, civil and domestic conflict occupied its place on the sands of time, leaving little of no space for talk of the upright and incorruptible without opening pages of one holy book or another.
The flourishing business of governance passed from generation to generation paints a picture of modern day Nigerian democracy, a political disease inherited from the military which until recently has never clearly been civilian
At 51, heading up the hill of success pedaled on one foot is a worse shoe than sitting behind a first timer on a bicycle, as the latter is already a known recipe for a an expected crash, unlike the expert who tries to show off and sells more than bargained for.
It’s been one more year of an extension of the troubles of Africa’s back stage giant, from knife fights to suicide bombs, from agitations to full blown militancy, from analog corruption to digital corruption, the list of her woes endless.
Ailing and failing Nigeria still manages to maintain international diplomatic relations with the calmness of a con artist. Despite our over burdened hearts and daily fears.
Thank you Baba God for yet another year, let your will be done.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIGERIA.
