SILVERBIRD MBGN 2011

"she's the range i'm the rover"

Its been weeks of crazy hype and awareness as the weekend of beautiful ladies drew closer. Finally, today Saturday the 25th of June, Silverbird entertainment set out once again on a mission to produce the most beautiful girl in Nigeria.
The long drama of disappointment started quite early this time around, as the red carpet interviews was short of any standard, there's little point in trying to rate the performance.
Also, the overwhelming presence of eastern girls who represented almost all the states is surely not an equal reflection of the beauty that abounds in our tribal diversity.
The questionable list of judges, did little to impress generally, the fairness and sincerity of coming up with the best choice.
Susan Peters  - Nollywood actress
Bankole Animashaun  - Classic Beverages
George Ubong - Panic Alert Security
Karen - Eko Hotels n Suites
Princewill Tonye - River Drill Group
Nike Adegoke - Lufthansa
Rita Harati, and finally
Silverbirds own Vice President Guy Murray Bruce.
Kudos for the night go to Lynx for his stage performance (simply exhilarating)
Face of choco, Wande Coal for appearing on stage (no energy during his performance)
Dr Sid, also for appearing on stage and some other artists who i'll rather not mention.
To really hit the international standard for events as this, extra effort has to be put in place.
Thanks Silverbird for doing your best, it could have been a better show but then, next year"s another opportunity to do better.

Deserved or undeserved, really dont matter now
Congratulations Slyvia Nduka/Miss Taraba, our MBGN 2011 and Miss World Representative.
