"the sweetness of a love song fades without a lover"
Right from the days of John the Baptist the Nigerian Government has suffered violence and only the violent seem to be get what they want, as tragedy remains a key input of the present government.
Where to start? Post election violence.
Its been months since then and the country has grown to gradually accept the sounds and news of bomb blasts as the norm, the standby daily prayer has to do with not being at the wrong place at the right time. In other parts of the world while people celebrated with gifts and fireworks, we threw bombs at places of worship and attacked innocent citizens.
Despite the disruption of the holiday period Nigerians received a consolatory new year gift which was an announcement by our supposed good-luck on the removal of fuel subsidy, this move instantly threw people out from their homes unto the streets admist shouts, long queues and quarrels in search of the desired product, all on new years day.
Not to complicate much of the new year, good-luck himself received a threat of his own, of which the ripple effect falls on the innocent citizens of cos. The boko haram group of companies issued a threat to the Federal Government asking it to withdraw troops and also asking Christians residing in the north to leave, while Muslims residing in the south to come back home.
Its laughable how little this group can conceive in comparism to the damage they have and are able to cause, despite their unintelligent arguments they surely have the means of passing their message across.
As the barrage of issues surrounding the Nigerian state presently defy understanding and continue to remain a web of intricate and carefully orchestrated plans initially not thought to work out, but thanks to the boko haram companies everyone who remains who still smiles to the bank.
For the man who isn't an army general or a lion or a pharaoh, this is yet another test.
